Late July,2008 I got the phone # for the England recruiter. She said they received my app. (submitted early in June) & it looked good so they tried to contact me. Lie #1. I got my "free" bus ride to S.L.C. on Sun. , then started orientation Mon. Got through the 4 day ordeal, passing written tests and driving evaluations. FYI if you don't go to an England school you won't know all the driving "rules". Then I waited to get on a company truck with a company driver for my first 4 wks. of OTR training.

I got on a lease truck w/a dedicated run;Ogden to Memphis twice a wk. Supposed to get 2 hrs. of backing practice per day. Got 1 hr. per wk. The "trainer" would only so thisspeak when spoken to (unless to shout a direction or criticism) and liked to answer a question with a question.

Sept. got on a lease truck for another 4 wks. to train as a lease operator. This trainer was younger & more personable so this part was ok.

Oct. I completed my "upgrade testing" andwas intro'd to my Driver Mngr. He said he would find a truck for me so I said I need to go home to "pack" >>move out of my rental & put stuff in storage.

Rode the bus to Moses Lake Wa. to get the truck. Started driving solo at .26 p/mi.  Lie#2 On the per diem plan my actual pay was .2375 I could list much more.

Let just say to both of you,for the most part I understand you wanting to get in to trucking and why you went the route that you did.But with that said,I don't know if you can see it but,you are your own worst enemies.Driving for 26cents a mile is redicules,I was making 25cents a mile in 1980,because you are willing to do this, you keep everyones pay down including your own.At 26cents a mile your making 780 bucks a week before taxes and that is with 3000 miles a week, are you kidding me,780 bucks to live in a truck. There is no glory in driving a truck so you might as well do it for money.

As for C R England there are 25 complaints on here alone, and there are other sites with there name in them.

I wish you nothing but the best and God Bless.

Late July,2008 I got the phone # for the C.R.E. recruiter. Lie #1: She said they got my app. (sent early June) & it looked good,so they tried to contact me [I got 0 calls or mail]. I got my freee bus ride to S.L.C. , and went thru the 4 day orientation.

Passed all the written & driving tests. FYI ; If you don't go to a C.R.E. school you won't know all the rules. Their evaluators/instructors will "ding" you on stuff you've never heard of.

Lie #2: I was to get my 1st phase OTR on a company truck with a company driver. I was put on a lease truck doing a dedicated < Ogden to Memphis> twice a wk. Lie #3: Iwas to get 2 hrs./day backing practice. I got 1 hr./wk. Lie #4: As a trainee I could ask about driving, the tractor, the trailer, or the reefer. The trainer was an arrogant jerk that would only speak when spoken to (except to shout directions or criticisms) and liked to answer a ? with a ?.

Sept. - Oct. went on a lease truck for phase 2 [To learn the lease business]. This guy gave me more & better driver training than the 1st one. Nice guy, enjoyed the ride.

Lie #5: Was told that after final "upgrade tests" , I would get a D.M. and a truck. I told the D.M. I would need to go home to "pack". He didn't find a truck for me 'til 10 days later. Lie#6: Get on the per diem plan for a larger net check. So instead of 0.26 per mi., I got 0.2375. When I asked payroll about my other 0.225, she said we (C.R.E.) have to pay our tax liability. With MY MONEY !!! F*** you very much.
