I just want to let people know that C & S Puppies (also has a kennel name which i dont remember) owned by Crystal and Shannon Smith is not the place to buy a dog from. I got 2 black pugs from them and they told me they were healthy. When I took the one that was 2 pounds to the vet they estimated her age at as about 4 weeks old not the 8 that she said. Also the hole puppies have in their head that closes up around 8 weeks was open for about a month later. Which indicated she was young.

HERE IS A PIC OF MY DOG... JUST LOOK AT HER EYES THE DAY I BROUGHT HER HOME

Then teh vet told me she has a probelm with her eyes. They cant produce tears which shes never seen in a puppy so she tested them and now the dog is on lifelong medication 2 times daily. As if that wasnt enough she later got very sick which costed me $600 and also needed her teeth pulled. She also circles a lot because they think the pug to little brain fluid in her head. So if she see there adds on Yahoo for her cute little puppies dont buy them.
A
lso both dogs have drifting eyes ( wall eyes ) DO NOT BUY HER PUPPIES she breeds chihuahuas, pugs, and bostons. She sent me papers 6 months after i go the dogs and she also didnt not give me a reciept or health garentee. She is not a good breeder at all.

She doesnt even bring you to where the dogs are kept she brings you to her mothers house and has no parents of the dogs because seh says its to uch to bring to her moms. My guess is she has a puppy mill considering half way home we found fleas on them and they were starving for food as soon as she put them down. Also she has the dogs in another room and they were seperated. Weird people and a wierd business. Just dont buy her dogs unless you have a lot of money that you want to give your vet. Her dogs are cheap and no good. i will say it again...

DO NOT BUY HER DOGS THEY ARE POORLY BREED AND WE NEED TO STOP HER FROM RUNNING HER BUSINESS

If it seems fishy why go through with it?

You saw that the woman did not bring you to the place that the dogs were being "bred" and did not show you the mother or the father surely with out those aspects alone you must have realized that this cannot be a true breeder. Next time you might want to read up on proper conduct when choosing a breeder before you fork over the cash.

If your vet is willing to attest to the fact that these pups were sick when you purchased them, contact your District Attorney and file a complaint. Contact the AKC (or anywhere else the dogs may be registered) and file a complaint. If you believe there is a puppy mill and animals are being abused, contact the SPCA and ask them what steps can be taken to find out if this is a puppy mill. In order to keep from going through this again, if you must buy from a breeder, require a list of references and check them out. NEVER purchase a puppy unless you have seen both parents. NEVER purhase a puppy unless you have seen thre breeding facility. Request a copy of the parent's AKC registration papers. Then contact the AKC and verify that the registration is valid. If you do decide to pursue this legally, contact the local rescue groups for the types of dogs this breeder has and see if they have rescues that have come from this breeder.
