On may 7th I went into free credit report.com and said that eveything was free. Well when they told me to continue to get all of my 3 credit reports they did not specify that I would be charged and they went ahead and charged me $39.95!!

Every person in the USA is entitled to one free credit report every year. So either you misread their TOS or they did scam you. I get a free report every year from all 3 credit agencies for myself, my husband and other family members.
