 I am reporting on a company call Cabinets You Way. They have ripped me off for 8,000 dollars and have not finished the remolding of my kitchen.

I really don't understand how this comany is still running, and Mr. Shafran here isn't behind bars.

It's all one big scam, not only to his customers, but also to employees. I have done work for this jerk's company, and when asked for the payment got in response all the excuses in the world. From the simple "it'll be next week" to "i'm selling one of my properties now, here's the agreement". And of course, money never came - and when mentioned again, this scammer here (or jerk, or mr. shafran, or omri) had decided to open his mouth and threathen me. 

look for his name on this site, google his name - he's always involved in scams and has many law suits hanging against him. he also has a restraining order in israel, and i won't be surprised if there are other countries that have his name somewhere on the black lists.

he may look like a nice guy, but he's a professional criminal. i really think it's time to have the authorities do something.

I beg to differ in regards to completing ever order and that a competitor wrote the previous post.  I am a victim of your scam, YOU took $9,000.00 from us and failed to deliver our cabinets. All your countless promises, month after month and lies after lies, on and on, nothing but lies. You have cheated numerous people out of their money to pay for all your mistakes in your other buisnesses. The day I was there, there was another victim of yours looking for her cabinets which where promised over 6 months ago. She told me that you had bilked her out of $10's of thousand of dollars which you stoled and never delivered on her cabinets. I then had the luxury, the other day, to run into one of your ex employees who opened your book wide open. You take and take and take, even to the extent of not paying your own employees for weeks on end telling them not to cash there checks because there is no money in the account. It's interesting how it is that you deposit all of the consumer checks and then transfer out the funds the next day, never placing any orders what so ever, however, funding your extravagant lifestyle. Or as they say "Robing Peter to Pay Paul". Your poor employees suffer just like your victims. Poor Angela, Laurel, Mike, Isaac, and Sonia. You have been cut off from some of the larger cabinet manufactures who you have not paid, however, you still push there line of product, sell it to us as such, and then deliver garabage. Just wait until your manufacturer in Mexico finds out what type of person you are.

Then there's the other part.......What's really creepy is how you monitor all the activities inside your store with remote cameras and follow all your intended victims throughout your showroom floor zooming in on them and following them as they walk through the showroom with the camera while you watch from the monitors. You must do this because you are too much of a coward to face your problems. It must be nerve racking to continue to look over your shoulder everyday because you take and steal. Oh, I forgot, you are some type of wrecking machine, an Israeli Special Ops, or some BS like that. I take it we are supposed to be afraid. In the end, you are none other than a liar, a cheat, a thief and most definately, a COWARD. In regards to my $9,000.00 you took from me, all I can say is that you can keep it. Obviously you needed the money more than I did. Pay off some of your personal debts with it or your past due notes on your class "D" apartments or other buisnesses, because I do know that you are NOT paying anything else with it.

The original complainant mentioned Cabinets-not-your-Way called the president of Brandom Cabinets for advice and possibly was selling the consumer Brandom brand of cabinets. That was total false. What company would ever call a competitor to ask advice?   

I personally know Steve Pyle, owner and President of Brandom Cabinets and am close with this company. In no way does Brandom sell to or give any advice to these clowns, ever. And they are not of low quality brand. All of the largest Homebuilders in Texas are using Brandom Cabinets. Perry, Weston, David Weekly, Cityside, Chesmar and Highland to name a few. Hey that's not a few. That's nearly all of them. So they are not cheap junk.

We had very much the same experience with Cabinets Your Way. Our order was promised in 4-5 weeks and by week 9 I had to call the company to track the product down. I kept being directed to the "project manager" who I later found left the company. Finally, when we did receive the product, it was damaged. Even worse, it was not what we were led to believe we ordered. We requested "All Wood" and the proposal stated as such. In the finer details (i.e. small print) of the contract we signed it described particle board being used. Cabinets Your Way did NOT provide us with our own copy of the small print contract and insisted they sold us the "industry standard, similar to KraftMaid." Isaac Ifik was very quick to backpedal saying what we purchased was comparable to KraftMaid standard which was clearly a lie. Anyone with any experience in this business would have known that particleboard would not stand up well in a bathroom/moist environment. If Cabinets Your Way had truly known their craft, they would have picked up on this and presented us with options and explanations.

After multiple rounds of back-and-forth, Isaac finally came out with the Brandom cabinet President who confirmed that it was a normal delivery in his professional opinion (i.e. defects were normal). Isaac tried as best he could to put off this even and repeatedly noted that this man’s time was “precious” (as if ours wasn’t – no one has time for such a hassle).  After additional research, I found that Brandom was synonymous with low quality but the sales pitch at Cabinets Your Way was completely the opposite. I came to feel they know very little about their market and are just out to make a quick buck.

Cabinets Your Way did not ever follow up in fixing the damaged merchandise and we had to pay a reputable carpenter to fix the damaged goods so they were usable. We had to buy the hardware that came "free" with purchase ourselves.  They even delivered a few cabinets belonging to another customer that were not part of our order. Isaac is nothing short of a snake oil salesman and I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs. There are many other cabinet makers in Houston to use. Having to haggle with this company for weeks on end for a minimum level of customer service is the last thing anyone needs during a stressful home renovation. Stay away - you will be glad you did.
