I traded in my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer for a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer EXT.  I did this because I wanted the 3rd row seat.  I picked up the vehicle on a Friday and the salesman knew I was coming well in advance, by at least a week.  The vehicle had not been properly inspected and right away the DVD player didn't work.  Dean Meier, the salesman, told me to bring it back next week and he would have it fixed.  When we returned from our weekend trip, the Trailblazer they sold me would not start.  The salesman tells me he is on vacation.  Didn't mention that when I took the vehicle and he knew I would be calling about the DVD repair.  So , we get it jump started and take it to work the next day and plan to drop it off only now, it starts, but you can't put it in gear.  The a/c isn't working, you can't shut it completely off and get the key out, the outside temp gauge isn't working and there's an antenna stuck to windshield on driver's side that is coming off and just hanging.  WTH???  They had my car for2 days and had no idea what was wrong with it.  I spoke to the sales manager, Shane, and he promises to make me satisfied with this deal and I told him that I WOULD NOT be paying the $1800 difference on the trade in, I would stop payment and we would need to discuss this further.  Finally, after my surgery this week, the car is ready but conveniently Shane doesn't recall our conversation.  Now the general manager, Jerry, wants to prosecute me for bad checks because I refuse to bring him the $1800 down payment money.  Unbelievable.  I'm now required to have, by my lender, an extended warranty, which costs $1800, and I told them that the $1800 they want is now going for an extended warranty that I now am required to have.
