Complaint Review: Cables4pc Cables4pc.com Colordrives

I purchased a computer from this company on May 7th of 2010, and I received it a short time later. I  purchased it on an ebay auction, and paid with paypal.

I foolishly sent in my positive feedback to ebay, without fully checking it out. I found that it didn't have a CD-RW/DVD drive, all it had was a CD player, and it didn't come with a Microsoft Validation Code, which is stated it had in the description.

I tried to contact the company and they wouldn't contact me back, so I thought that I was just out of luck.

On 20 March of 2010 the computer started acting up, so I tried to use the recovery disk that DID come with it, and the computer informed me that I needed to change the boot sequencing, and I tried to no avail.

The computer finally let me in and I tried to change the sequencing and the computer informed me that I needed an Administrators password.

I tried every password that I have ever used and after the 7th try the whole computer just shut down, and won't even light up.

I've tried to contact the company again, and  up to this day they won't contact me back, So I contacted the Federal Trade Commission and filed a report, and contacted another Government Agency, www.ic3.gov and filed a report.

I suggest to anyone out there who was ripped off by these lowlifes to contact these agencies and file reports as well.

This information was supplied by Ebay, who informs me that this company cannot sell with them anymore, and Paypal informs me that this company is being watched.

Let's rally together and shut these people down, I was also informed by the FTC that if found guilty they will not be able to sell in the US ever again, be fined and imprisoned.

There is strength in numbers.
