Complaint Review: Cabo Auto Sales

About 5 months ago I came across an add in the trader express listing a 2004 range rover land rover for sale with the listed price 21,995 I call David and he began to tell me a different price. After long dead end phone conversations I set out to Cabo with the trader express in hand! Once I arrived David and his staff began to try and convince me that the price was wrong and the truck was 26,995 I argued and even left a 1,000$ deposit, I returned the next day in hopes of buying this vehicle. I was prepared to put 11,000$ down nearly half of the listed price. Finally after hours of negotiating they finally decided to sell me the car for the price they list so i thought. Months and months went by, Until one day I jumped a curb and blew my front tire. I immediately went to the back of my truck and pulled the spare tire out... turns out the tire was sliced and was of no use. I called David as I was furious! He tried to tell me how he was not responsible for the tire which is not the case. He finally agreed to give me a new tire. Once I received the new tire, I jacked the car up and noticed I only had 4 lugs instead of 5!! By this time I had driven the car 10,000 miles with 4 lugs instead of 5 and to make matters worst the spare tire kit did not belong to this vehicle. Again I was very very upset! And to make matters worst they informed me that my insurance had been canceled, which again made no sense since I had informed them the day I purchased the vehicle I gave them my credit and instructed them to pay my insurance in full for the next 6 months.. obviously they did not. David made it seem as though he felt bad for the whole tire situation. He called me and said that he had brought me a new policy and not worry I was not insured. At this point although still mad about the tire I felt a little better that they admitted their fault and tried to make up for it, so i thought! maybe 2 weeks later I get a call from a repo guy saying he was here to take my truck!.. Not understanding why I rush to the scene to find repo men lifting my truck on the a tow truck. When i called David he said the reason for the repo was because i didnt have insurance! Again I was furious. I began trying to get my car back and they just gave me story after story.. first telling me the bank said i must pay the car in full. After doing research I found their was no bank infact cabo had paid for the repo. So i brought this info to davids attention.. saying there is no bank i want my car. He told me "ok well my partners need to make commission on this" .. I refuse to pay them anymore than i owe them. its been about 5 weeks and I almost lost hope until I came across this ad. I hope we can come together and bring these scum bags now! they have the idea that its ok to steal from people who just want to buy a vehicle. Please let me know any new details about them.. as I am going to the court house tom. to get representation so i can sue these scummy pr*cks!

I need to know more information regarding the contracts you signed. Where you making payments? Did they keep resigning contracts with different banks? If you made your payments on time according to the contracts you defintely have a case. Contact me with more info
