Cabo Villas Resort,Baja Marketing Group and anyone affiliated with them that I have found are liars and cheats. On the tour of the resort they show you the 1 bedroom deluxe, and the 1 and 2 bedroom lockouts. Dont be fooled. These are promo/demo rooms, and are not at all like the actual room that you get.

We were scamed into buying 4 weeks a year for 25yrs at Cabo Villas Resort and 16 weeks a year for 30 years with Global Adventures. The sales agent got his accomplist who was supposedly with the marketing firm of Resort Services also DBA eCondomania and probably other names, on his cell phone. They said there were people waiting to rent all available weeks but they needed an additional $599.00 set up fee, which we paid. They said the 2 bedroom would bring $2,400.00/wk.

We then put $11,350.00 down on 2 Credit cards and financed through them $41,440.00. This was in January 2004 and to this date not a single night has been rented. They claim they are not responsible for what their represinative say or do. Yes we were stupid and got screwed. Please learn from our mistake and if anyone says Cabo Villas Resort or Baja Marketing Group,RUN!

It is always best to hire someone skilled to do so, unfortunately in most cases these companies dedicated to cancel timeshares usually cheat for the second time to their customers since they are vulnerable and desperate. If you are thinking of hiring them you just have to make sure you do not have to make any payment upfront ... I found these articles that speak precisely about this, you should read them, that might help you to resolve many doubts:

Delete the statement about the room you see may not be the room you get. They could indeed be the room you get. My mistake.
