Caitlin Merto Designs Took money, did no work, never gave refund Ardmore Internet

I was hesitant about posting this complaint, because at first Caitlin Merto Designs really did seem like a credible business that was passionate about helping women entrepreneurs grow their businesses. But I would hate to think that other people would get scammed like I did because I didn't speak up about my experience.

The CEO, Caitlin Merto, gave me a consultation, quoted a flat rate for graphic design services and requested that I pay upfront, which I did. After that, I did not receive any work from her, nor any response to my emails or calls to check in on the progress. I ran into her about a month later, and she apologized for her lack of response and non-completion of the work due to personal reasons. She told me she'd send a refund. I never received it and again, my follow-up calls and emails went unanswered.

If you're looking for a professional graphic designer who is eager to complete projects and is responsive to your questions or concerns, please do not use Caitlin Merto Designs. It is very frustrating to see a business some build a brand around empowering people and high quality services, when in reality they're simply taking money from clients and not completing the work.
