In October 2001, I registered with a rental agency, Cal Rentals. This company was suppose to assist me in finding an apartment. I registered with them over the phone and gave them my credit card to pay for the fee. Since their customer service was so poor, I decided not to use their services and asked for a refund immediately. I was denied my refund and had to wait 90 days to receive it. When my 90 days past, I only received a partial refund. The customer service representative Dave Calvo, stated that its in my contract that Cal Rentals can keep $50 as their service fee. I did not receive anything in writing which states this claim nor was I told over the phone when I registered. Basically I paid them $50 for their poor customer service and bad business practices. I found their representatives unhelpful and the customer service representative, Dave, unprofessional.

Part of company policy is only to refund those that ACTIVELY use the service for the full 90 days and do not manage to find anything, you stated you did not use the service..

Therefore they cannot guarantee to help you if you are not guaranteeing to use the service, you deserved no refund and if it cost you $50 click your heels with happiness you got away lightly and did not deserve one shiny nickel.

Its a simple concept if you do not want it don't order it, if you ordered it your an adult be responsible for your actions, you cannot trash a service you did not even use.

This sounds more like you could not look at the listings until you paid then once you looked found what you wanted you no longer needed them and screamed for a refund.

Got what you wanted went for the refund thats the way legal robbery!

If you did not like the customer service that has nothing to do with the information provided which is what you are paying for customer service is purely there to hand the lists over, not for general abuse, too many customers in this industry take their personal frustrations and stress out on low paid customer service people just because they are standing behind a counter or just moan at customer service so they can get out of paying once they find what they want.

And if you think A customer is always right that saying was written by a customer.
