I began having issues with my spa last year and tried for several months to get Cal Spa's to honor their warranty. They did not and after trying for a long time finally had to take them to court. After hearing the case the court awarded me the judgement.

I have sent Cal Spas certified letters requesting payment. They have yet to pay. What I want to know is whether they are going to resolve this issue once and for all or do I need to go to the media, the better business bureau, and launch a website to let consumers know what horrible customer service cal spas gives thier customers.

We purchased the Spa because my husband has back trouble and it was to help relieve some of his pain. All that has happened is we have gotten a lot of headaches and a defective spa. The dealer and spa service agent both said that the spa was defective and it was do to some part of the manufacturig. We proved our case and won.

Options to collect

I would not wait any longer for Cal Spas, you are going to run out of time on the statute of limitations to be able to collect.  You can obtain a form from the clerks office of the small claims court that you were awarded your judgement regarding a writ of execution; you can take it to the Cal Spas bank and collect your money, another option you have, is to bring Cal Spas back to court, they will have to explain to the judge why they have not paid you, not sure what the process is for this hearing but the clerks office can help you.  Best of luck to you!!

The original complaint was submitted on March 04, 2008.

Cal Spa replied on March 02, 2012.... 4 years later!

Karen, you would have done better to ignore this post. Your reply four years later only refreshed it for the search engines. All you've done is dredge up old news and bring it back to the top of search results. I doubt that's the result Casey had in mind when you were hired.

You should search Cal Spa complaints for the replies from your predecessor Martin. He made the same mistakes and readers of RipOffReport called him out on it.

You should spend less time sniffing the blue glue and more time finding a job you're good at.

update on your judgement

#7General Comment

I used to do same day pick up and delivery services and have not been paid for more than 8 months.  I hear that most vendors have the same problems when it comes to payment.  I have a small claims hearing tomorrow in Pomona and would like to know if you received payment on your judgement.  I have all my proof with signatures but now after hearing that you have not been paid I wonder if I will ever get paid.

Find out who the bank for Cal Spa is and file a garnishment on their bank for the amount of the claim.  You will get the money very fast this way.  You have every right to get money from these scum bags.

How To Collect Your Judgment

#7Consumer Suggestion

Fri, March 07, 2008

It appears as if you have made every effort possible to collect on your judgment. You need to file a writ of execution with the court. It's a simple form that you can get from the clerk's office you will also need to give them the copy of the judgment saying that you have the right to collect. The writ will enforce any monies owed to you by Cal Spas. Best of luck to you.
