My husband and I purchased a used car from the Cal Cars dealership in Sioux City, Iowa. We paid cash. The dealer told us we would have the title with in one week, but she had to have it sent to her from the corporate office.

We waited over a week and called the dealership. The woman no longer worked there and there was no title waiting for us. We were told the title would be sent up from the corporate offices and it would take about a week to get here. The man appologized for the delay. It's now been 30 days and still no title. Our In Transit Sticker is expired and we can not get the car into our name without paying an additional penalty fee because thetitle was not filed within 30 days af the sale.

We have done repairs on the vehicle and spent money to maintain the vehicle and can't even register it as ours. They refuse to deal with us in good faith. They won't return our money we have spent on the car (purchase and repairs) and won't give us the title.

We are now going to have to pay a lawyer to get the title to the car or our money back.
