Complaint Review: Cale Kids

Whatever you do, DO NOT HIRE CALE KIDS, Kids Construction, B&C Investments, Mansfield Remodeling, or whatever he's calling himself these days!

This guys will cut any corner he can, skimp wherever possible, and leave you to deal with the fallout. I was in the unfortunate predicament of buying a house he was "remodeling", only to find out the hard way what I'd gotten myself into. Cale has no qualms about finding the absolute cheapest unskilled labor to do his jobs (reputable craftsmen know to stay away from him - sometimes he won't even pay them, and they come looking for you - that's fun!).  He also won't stand behind his work when something breaks (good luck ever getting him to return your phone call).  All of this means you'll end up having to pay twice for someone who's qualified to come and fix his terrible work.

Specifically, work for me he screwed up includes: AC wiring ($600), sprinkler system ($700 and counting), electric gate ($150), foundation (at least $600 in additional inspections, plus other other obvious damage such as drywall and door fixes)...I could go on.

On top of how poor his work is, he's dishonest, he'll lie to you (despite claiming to be a Deacon - don't get me started), and in the case of my next door neighbor, he totally vanished - didn't even come back to finish the job! (unfortunately, she hired him before asking me what he was like to work with).

Long story short...STAY AWAY from Cale Kids! He's an absolute NIGHTMARE to work with!
