Ok now FIRST OFF: The first thing I noticed was the pay. I do consider myself a professional office manager. However, I have NEVER been paid $18 d**n dollars an hour!! Come on, now! I'm not a d**n nurse! Anyway...like I've been doing lately anyway...I decided to check this "job" or "company" out. Now, I will apologize in advance for what I'm about to say about their site. However, like I've mentioned before, it's just MY opinion. When I first entered the website (www.calibercareers.com), there was a picture of a young black woman on the "company's" webpage. Like I've just mentioned, I'm sorry if I may sound a little prejudice or what ever.

But I'm a young black woman myself, & have RARELY seen blacks on any website's front company page. Not saying that blacks don't deserve to be on the "front cover" of a magazine or company web page(Because truly, OBAMA is MY HERO!!! YIPPEEEE!!) but we all know that for some reason, whites will more likely than not be chosen to grace the cover of almost any advertisement, company,etc....anyway, on the serious side:

IF YOU ARE UNEMPLOYED, AND SEEKING EMPLOYMENT, PLEASE RESEARCH THE COMPANY BEFORE YOU RELEASE ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFO!!! I AM JUST LUCKY ENOUGH TO ALWAYS DO 'REFERENCE CHECKS' ON COMPANIES BEFORE I COMMIT TO EVEN FILLING OUT AN EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION! EVEN IF THEY SOME HOW CONTACT YOU BY PHONE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH! UNLESS YOU ARE ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH THE COMPANY AND YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THEY ARE LEGITIMATE! I'VE EVEN HEARD SOME PEOPLE SAY TO STILL BEWARE OF EVEN THE "LEGIT-SOUNDING" COMPANIES, BECAUSE ITS BEEN REPORTED RECENTLY THAT THERE ARE BOGUS PEOPLE OUT USING LEGITIMATE COMPANIES' NAMES JUST TO OBTAIN CONSUMER'S INFORMATION! BOY! THESE FRAUDSTERS ARE RUNNING OUT OF OPTIONS TO DUPE US, HUH!?!?!?!

With all of that said, I hope that I've helped someone NOT take that step, and fall for whatever...we may be unemployed right now because of the recession. But that does NOT mean that we are dumb-asses like these dumb-asses are portraying us to be.

No, I DID NOT forward ANY of my information to these fools, either!

Be careful all!
