Complaint Review: Caliber Home Loans

In 2007 I was affected by the Great Recession Like many others around the globe.

We eventually lost our home.

Fortunately we kept land adjacent to our home.

We built a small Cabin on that land that we had hoped to dwell in peacefully.

Unfortunately, the mortgage was sold multiple times and eventually wound up in the possession of Caliber Home Loans out of Irving Texas. They paid pennies on the dollar for it.

Approx. 1 year ago Caliber Home loans foreclosed on our home. They are really working for this man, John Grayken who owns Loan Star Funds, Caliber is the “Hit Man” if you will that do the dirty work for him. The other entity they go by is “U.S. Bank Trust, N.A., as Trustee for LSF8 Master Participation Trust”

What they also did while we were out of town, was cut the lock on our private driveway, break down the door on our cabin and steal everything we own. They did not have any legal right to be on our property. They did this with impunity and malice, even though their foreclosed home was only on 1.5 acres of land, they trespassed on a 50 acre parcel adjacent to it.

They also created a Landfill on our land and dumped toxic material in it, and then they buried it. They also drove approx. 1/2 mile into the interior of our land, and dumped toxic material into a stream that feeds a NC protected waterway.

Over the course of the past year, we were able to get them to return part of what was taken, but not everything. Caliber Home Loans also is unwilling to sign an agreement protecting us from them suing us and us signing to not sue them.

Their vendor, Safeguard Properties out of Ohio, has been somewhat willing to fix this problem, but Caliber Home Loans has not. Basically Safeguard admits to taking property outside the building, but is unwilling to compensate us for the landfill issues, several Items not returned inside, including Damages to our Bedroom furnishings, Kitchen furnishings, Tools stolen, etc.…

We have had our US and NC constitutional rights violated, and as of yet have not been able to get any Local, County, State, or National Government agency to correct this issue.

There are several insurance companies involved that provided liability insurance policies to cover this event (The Hanover, CF Insurance Services (Caliber's Liability Insurer) or caliber insurance services (Caliber's Liability Insurer)). Also Rutherford County Sheriff’s office was involved, as well as the courts out of Rutherford County.

How can Govt’s, and Businesses get away with invading its citizens violating their constitutional rights with impunity?
