I paid for a set of custom cornhole/bean bags toss boards and never received them. When I first spoke with Joe, the owner of California bean bags, he said it would take 2-3 weeks to get the boards made and shipped out. After 4 weeks I inquired about the status; I didn't get a reply until 2 weeks later. I was told by Joe that he needed a part for his compressor and that the one that was sent was wrong and the correct part was on it's way and should have in a day or two and get the boards out ASAP - this was in the end of July 2009. Four weeks later, still no boards (end of August 2009). One week later (the beginning of September 2009) I received an email from Joe. Joe apologized for the delay and not replying to any of my emails. He said he had a fire at the house and that his internet was down, and that he got the part for his compressor yesterday (the part he should have had weeks ago) and would have the boads out soon. I have emailed Joe over 10 times since the beginning of September 2009 and have not received a reply to any of them. In my emails I asked for the status of the boads then started asking for a refund. I should be refunded the money since I never received the boards I ordered. I also followed up with several phone calls that have gone unreturned. If you are considering purchasing from California Bean Bags, you should stay away. I'm out the money I paid them. Joe is unprofessional and unethical. Elena, who sent the invoice to me, is a theif.
