What a sell out the California's govrnor Jerry Brown bankrupts our state for taxpayers and signs a bill to allows illegal immigrants a free education in California and allowing them to registr first over American citizens, Jerry Brown screwed that up because of the liberal democrats running the California assembly and California Senate and signed this absurd bill into law. We have over 2000 illegal immigrants coming into California each day backrupting our State, our health care systems, our businesses, our jobs, and sending their money made here back to Mexico and inviting more Mexicans and other countries to come here and do the same. We were sold a corruption from Jerry Brown by siging the California Deam Act and also sitting up candidate Meg Whitmen how if went after for hiring an illegal alian nanny, Jerry Brown signs this corrupt Dream Act bill into law. How topical these absurd corrupt democrats screwing up California with more regulation with bad laws like smoking bans, seat belt laws, helmet laws, gay rights and etc. Governor Jerry Brown is a ripoff governor and our State is going to be the next Greece because of people like governor Jerry Brown screwing things up and up.

A law signed by California's governor Monday specifies that undocumented immigrant students in the state can be eligible for cheaper in-state tuition rates.
The DREAM Act, which was signed by Gov. Jerry Brown on Monday in Los Angeles, is distinct from, if related to, a federal effort of the same name. The latter legislation has been pushed -- thus far, unsuccessfully -- by Democrats in Washington in order to give children of illegal immigrants a path to citizenship through military service or college education.
The California version effectively updates a previously enacted law that allows all people who have attended high school in the state for three or more years to pay cheaper in-state tuition rates to attend one of its public universities, colleges or community colleges. The earlier version stated as much, but did not specifically address one's immigration's status.
With the law's enactment, effective January 1, 2012, current and prospective students who are not documented U.S. citizens could pay the same rates that legal state residents enjoy at public universities. The difference can be steep, with full-time out-of-state students paying as much as five times more than in-state counterparts at various University of California campuses.
All those applying for such aid would have to file an affidavit with the college or university stating that they have applied for a lawful immigration status or will apply as soon as they are eligible to do so, notes an explanation on the website of the bill's author, state assembly member Gil Cedillo.
"While many states have chosen to legislate hate and division by approving anti-immigrant laws, California's governor sends a strong message that investing in today's student population, regardless of their immigration status, is smart, practical and the right thing to do."
In June, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the earlier, more generic California law that paved the way for illegal immigrants to pay in-state rates, even if it didn't mention documentation specifically. That legislation passed a decade ago.
The justices without comment refused to accept an appeal from out-of-state students attending California schools, who said it was unfair that as U.S. citizens, they had to pay as much as $20,000 more than illegal immigrants. They claimed such "preferential treatment" violated federal law.
In their brief to the nation's high court, California education officials estimated about 41,000 students in 2010 benefited from the lower tuition, mostly those attending community colleges.
At the larger, four-year, state-chartered University of California system with 10 campuses statewide, about 2,019 students paid in-state tuition in 2009 under the state law at issue. An estimated 600 were believed to be illegal immigrants, the state said.
Several other states have similar laws including Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin. Another dozen states have passed specific laws refusing in-state tuition for illegal immigrants.

Beware of California Jerry Brown the guy is a total ripoff.
