Being Hispanic it causes me great pain to witness the stereo typical behavior, that is associated to Hispanics, during the annual CHCC board of directors meeting in San Francisco, CA this past weekend on the 16th of August 2008.

A proposal was presented to the chamber members of California (individual chambers) but to my dismay as member voters were called to vote 5 of the existing board members, for the CHCC, came down to vote on a very highly sensitive topic which related to the voting rights of the individual chamber members. They had participated in writing the new bylaws and now actually voted on passing what they had helped form.

I cannot and will not agree or participate in what I consider very unethical behavior. Can you be a fair voting representative for both a local chamber and the state chamber at the same time? It seems to me that this is a conflict of interest.
