Complaint Review: California Notary Maja Ruth Hamill

Maja is a crooked notary. She knowingly notarizes fraudulent documents for a huge payday. She charges $75000 for this service but it could be much, much more depending how much money is involved. She lost her notary commission years ago for similar things but they allowed her to get her notary license back, which was a big mistake. She started doing fraud almost immediately using her own stamp. Not wanting to lose her license a second time, she set out to steal another notary’s stamp. She was successful. She then burnt the notary book she used for the fraudulent documents and reported her book and stamp stolen.

She’s been on a document forging spree ever since. She has had three claims against her bond, and a request to examine her book. She has a few questionable transactions and those she didn’t have a fingerprint for. That’s a no no per the licensing board so she used somebody’s toes to make fingerprints in her book. This woman is a real piece of work and never should have been allowed to get her license back. She’s left so many victims behind her one can only feel sorry for those people.
