Call One made a marketing call to my home offering coupons for $200.00 to restuarants in my local area, if I agreed to review their long distance plan. They said it would only cost the fee of $3.97 for postage and they could do it by a phone check.

I reviewed the charges online to my checking account a few days later and saw that on 9/24/04 the $3.97 was deducted as it should be. I recieved the mailing on 9/28/04 and while reviewing the contents it stated that "if I did not contact them in 10 days that a membership would automatically be opened in my name and I would be charged accordingly.

On 9/30/04 I called their toll free number listed in their marketing packet and they acknowledge my cancelling an further services and I received a cancellation number.

The next day this company tried to withdraw $149.00 from my checking account causing an overdraft and fees to be charged. I contacted my bank and also contacted Call One. Not only were they unprofessional and indignent, they informed me they would send me a request for a refund via the mail.

I have yet to recieve the request, however, on 10/7/04 they attempted to withdraw the same amount electronically against my checking account. Causing an overdraft and fees to be charged to my account.

I have called the company asking for their executive offices, to no avail. They say they are in Asia and their material states they are located in Orange California.
