Upon original move in to this apartment complex, I told the management that the carpets needed to be replaced - it smelled of dog urine. All of this was noted on the move-in sheet. They said they would clean it again and that should solve the problem. No, not even close. Since that time, have had no hot water and the apartment upstairs flooded causing the carpets to be even worse and stink... Also, the carpet was never laid down correctly after the flood and frayed in several places - since that time I have had to move into a 3 bedroom due to my mom having to move in with us.... yes. they gave me new carpet in the new apartment and waived the 200.00 move-in. Plus when we moved things out of two closets and moved a huge chair - there was mold everywhere... and two boxes were stuck to the carpet.... Then, yesterday, I received a move-out statement where I owe for the carpet cleaning, 4 patches from a dog fraying the carpet, etc.. right... the carpet fraying is from their carpet company not putting the carpet back down correctly and how could they possibly move another tenant in that mess. The dog urine smell is bad enough, but mold... please.... and poor a cup of water on the carpet and put down a white towel - trust me it will be yellow when you step on the towel. Nasty place.... if you are thinking of renting here - think again - run... run... run... someplace else.
