CAMCO (Capital Acquisitions And Management Company) Coercing payment without proof of debt Rockford Illinois
My wife recently received a letter from CAMCO offering a "generous settlement offer" for a debt they allege as over $6000. Other than naming a large and common bank and credit card company, the letter provides no details at all (e.g. debt type, credit card number, dates, who they acquired this debt from, etc).
Thanks to the info here, we'll be playing along for awhile, taping their phone calls, taking notes, and getting them in as deep as they'll go. Then it's off to the AG's, the Rockford City Council, the FTC, and the BBB.
Thanks for all the tips and suggestions here. Time to nail these

Here are two links I found that list the SOL (Statute of Limitations) in years for various debts for all 50 states:

I have *nothing* to do with these companies, nor do I recommend or disrecommend them. They simply showed up first when I Googled for: +"Statue of Limitations" +Minnesota +debt
