These jerks screwed with the WRONG person!

They have totally jacked up otherwise great days for myself and my family trying to harass me into re-paying a Bank of America overdraft debt of $220 that I paid off in 1991 with a debt consolidation.

This all started off with a letter @ my new home. Stating that I owed a Bank of America debt that with their added fees, amounted to $660.

As I have immaculate credit, I called them right away to ensure that it would not be affected.

When I talked to the idiot over there (Ed Horowitz), he slowly escalated from "lets work this out", to "we will RUIN your credit, and sue the pants off you"...Do you WANT that to happen?" THats when he started reading off my creditors names and social security number to let me know they had pulled my credit. I was SNAPPED!!! He said, why don't you just PAY YOUR DEBTS, aren't you a MAN?! I hung up....

I was livid...

Then the callbacks began. Every day for 2 weeks...

I told them to stop calling me and he said that he wouldn't unless I got a lawyer and figured out how to stop them, or paid them off...He began to talk about how they have the same access to my information as any law enforcement agency and that they would find my employer and notify them that I am a criminal, blah blah...

These F-heads lied up and down to me about what they had and what they would do and almost had me beat down...

I went through MANY cycles with these guys. I am not one to back down, but my credit is very important to me, and because of this, I allowed "Steven Thomas" to tell me to shut up so he could talk (Said "God gave us ears to listen with , you should try it.... OMG, I was shaking) and I bit my lip while he told me how "He would do me a favor if I would shut my mouth and charge me $276 instead of $660, but if I were cross with him, that, "All it takes is 3 keystrokes and I am back to $660".

He went on to try and get me to give him a check or credit card over the phone tonight. I told him that I would have to call him back tomorrow. He said I had till the 22nd to make the payment or it would defer to the full amount.

Then I searched the web before I left work. Thank GOD I did, and thank you all for posting so much GREAT information. I have filed with the FTC and will contact the states attorney here and in Illinois tomorrow, as well as the Better Business Bureau. I hate these people and I will focus every bit of my effort and resources into smashing their pitiful business into the ground. THey are lucky I don't live in Illinois or me and a couple friends would be waiting for them to get off work.
BEWARE!! SCAM ARTISTS!! DONT PAY THEM!!
They are LYING TO YOU!!!

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, its paid for!
