Complaint Review: CAMCO Capital Acquisitions Group

This lady calls me, says it is "imperative" that she talk to me; demands 451 dollars for a B of A account overdraft 1994. Only I remember paying it. I told her I"m a law student and we are going to court. She HANGS UP!

I call back and start interviewing the woman, and she becomes very hostile. She says they "aren't a law firm" or a "collection agency", alternately states it is for a credit card or a bank account, and eventually starts yelling at me. I've never had a collections agent yell at me before, so I become more and more suspicious. She eventually hangs up. I do a quick search on the net and find, lo and behold, these guys are scam artists and apparently the DA of Illinois hasn't done sh*& about it!
