Complaint Review: Camco Management

This company and its owners have failed to keep a managed condo association in compliance with state law by failing to file mandated documents until they were forecd to. They collect their management fees and then threaten owners who call with hefty penalties in a recorded message. When a unit burnt down at night, they did not answer their page and left elderly women standing outside. Owners report seldom being able to reach the property manager and when they do, feeling bullied and belittled to the point of tears. This company has no web address, published email, or any way or finding out if they belong to any reputable professional organization. After twenty years of service on condo boards, I would not recommend this particular company in any way to any individual or association for any reason whatever. They may be inexpensive, but there is a very true saying that, "You get what you pay for." Run for your life.
