Check your credit report. I received my TransUnion Report today and there it was: Capital Acquisition & Management. They entered their name twice so that it will stand out from the rest.

This is to 15-year-old disputed debt. This is illegal, can be removed by you, but you have to know it is there.

When you confirm it, complain to the FTC. They are already pursuing crimal charges against them.

This is the letter I wrote to the FTC:

**********************************************

I have taken care of the initial contact, but today, 4/24/04, I received my TransUnion Credit report and found that CAMCO entered their named to my credit report under the inquiries where other creditors can see them and reference CAMCO for disputed bad debt, 15-yrs ago (this inquiry section provides a 2-year window on my personal credit report). They entered their name twice so that it stands out from the others. To credit my complaint as legitimate, please reference "USA vs. Capital Acquisitions and Management Corp." Case No. 04C50147, Consent Decree, which is available from the FTC's website.

I believe that I may be able to remove this on my own, but know that there are many many people who don't know this, or don't know that it is even on their credit report at all.

Thank you in advance for your assistance and vigilance in pursuing these individuals.

Please post your results so others know if it works or not.
