CAMCO ripoff, almost, Thanks to the RIPOFF REPORT Rockford Illinois
Thanks to the RIPOFF REPORT they did not mange to get me. I received a collection notice for $23,609.45 from CAMCO. I have no idea what is for. Maybe an old student loan I have consolidated and been paying for years.
It was purchased from Bank of America. They Purchased it from Midland Receivables Corp. I am supposed to contact Vince Albright or a judgement will be sent.
In my experience with debt collectors, there has always been some reference to what the debt is for. They gave no indication. So I researched it. Found your site in about 3 minuets with numerous entries for CAMCO.

'A judgement will be sent'. I love it, a truly desperate scam. What I'd recommend is calling Mr. Albright and challenge him to send you the 'judgement'. Settle for nothing less. If he's not man enough to send it then he's a wimp. Keep challenging him until he hangs up. If he calls back keep challenging him.
Odds are he'll wimp out on this pathetic bluff.....
