Complaint Review: CAMCO

On 3/23/04 I received a letter from CAMCO stating I owe them $1,129.13. As soon as I saw this I checked ALL the credit reports I had saved and found this "so called Bad Debt" was NOT listed on any of the reports.

I called and spoke with a "OLIVIA BLACK" and was told it was from 1990 and I had written a check in the above amount from a credit card company. I asked for proof and was informed that there is no proof! A check was NEVER written!

Having owned a Collection Co., I knew the Statute had run out whether this was a bad debt or not and she actually ADMITTED that the statute HAD infact run out!

I am so glad I found your site to further confirm my suspicion!
