Complaint Review: Camco

Received a letter stating I had a bad debt from 1990 for the sum of $8,450. So I called the number stated in the letter. I talked to a Vince Brown. He said that it was a back bill from that was sent to collection and aquired by this company. I stated that this was impossible as i was never notified as of this debt from anyone. If in fact I did owe this bill don't you think someone would have notified me before 14 years?

I told him that the company in question was a bank that has given me 4 car loans since this time and also have bought a house. He even said that it seemed odd as he ran my credit report and it was perfect. Basically this company seems to attack the people that used to have bad credit and that have fixed it. If in fact I actually did owe this bill I would have paid it when I was fixing my credit 10 years ago. Really pissed off consumer.
