Complaint Review: camden military academy

You only have to watch the news or search the internet so see the charges against Camden Military Academy. Beatings, Rape, Starvation are the current charges against CMA. The child making the claim has even taken a polygraph and passed. But, I can tell you from personal experience that my son too, was beaten constantly by the older cadets, there is a huge availability of drugs at the school as well. When you are paying tuition to a school you assume that the school is looking after your child. So if your child is being beaten, raped, and students are using drugs every night at school...the officers should be able to notice such things and take the appropriate action. However, the officer are known to turn a blind eye to such things.Really now, how is it that a military officer would mis all the nighly beatings, rapes, drug use going on??? If something terrible is happening to your child, you will never know. By the time our son came to us, it was too late for him, he had suffered abuse for three years and as an adult still is suffering from the trauma. We are certain that we were never told, so they could keep collecting tuition money from us.. they really don't care about the young men there, it's all about the money. Hopefully the pending lawsuit will shut them down.
