Camelback Ford Dealership Severely Overcharged for Repairs Phoenix Arizona
I brought my vehicle in because I had a light go off that the engine coolant was over temperature. I brought in my vehicle and was told off the bat that it would be 3-5 business days to get a diagnostic. At no time was there any offer or even discussion about getting me into a rental or a temporary loaner vehicle. Then, they held my car for almost another week to fix. I was egregiously overcharged for the repairs which were not clearly itemized on the receipt. I reviewed the receipt along with a relative and a close friend who is a mechanic and none of us could make heads or tails of it. Before they had been paid for the repairs they spoke with me and sent me texts about what they were doing, but large pieces of that information was not included in the receipt. I called in to the woman I spoke to initially (who had made it clear that she knew nothing about cars and at best was trying to parrot information from the mechanics). She was able to give me some information like the hourly rate but still could not break down a very large charge or give a full explanationfor what exactly had been done or replaced. I also found it puzzling that the labor described had taken 4-5 hours when ordinarily said labor takes half the amount of time I was charged for. I was told that the labor had been done by two different mechanics but their repairs and time were not broken down or itemized.
Also, in the past when I take my vehicle to a Ford dealer they run it through the carwash before I pick it up. Despite the fact that this dealer had ample time to do so they did not. I will not be coming back to this dealership any time soon.

Any dealer which adds BOGUS FEES, like $600 for doing paperwork is telling you they CANNOT BE TRUSTED! On top of that, the FRAUD and DECEPTION which is a routine part of too many slime ball dealers in ses and financing has now flown into the shop. Don't ever go to a dealership for non-warranty service Find a good independent shop.
