After 3 months of homework and reading sales ads, On 8/1/05 my partner, Patti and I asked to speak to a manager. I presented Ken Walsh with an add that read 0 down, .007% interest to lease a full size 2005 Tundra for $299.00 per month for 36 months. He said he would honer the add and immedietly pawned us off to Fisal, a salesman. We pointed to a 2001 carolla that Patti purchased there 3 years ealier & told him if they would payoff the remainder of $4,700. owed to Capital One he had a sale. They drove the car. Fisal came back in with Ken. Ken put his hand out and said "We have a deal".

We were than escorted to the finacial dept. I remember him telling us how he met the owner on the golf course and how many years he had been doing creative calculating

About a month later I received a call from Ken Walsh saying we have a huge problem. There was a misunderstanding. Apparently they put the carolla as a down payment for the lease of the truck and Capital One will not release the Title. I said I would return the truck if I could not get the deal that was promised to me in the add. He said he didn't want it back because I put miles on it and we would try to figure something out.

Since that conversation I never heard from him. I was contacted by John Fern who asked if we could split the payoff. I said again. I don't have that kind of money and that was not the deal.

My partner now has a charge off on her credit.Several cirtified letters were sent to Capital One with no response.

John said the the car was sold. Capital One says they never sent them the title and it was illegle for them to sell that car.

To the Gentleman who commented on this report.

Both the Salesman and the Manager were both told there was a balance to be paid on the trade in.

As far as the financial person, it was not discussed. He asked if we had a copy of the title which everyone receives weather it is paid in full or still owed.

I will also add it was on a week day. Why did he not pick up the phone and call the bank to verify if there were concerns?

It was all done in too much haste.

I don't know where you are employed but I'm sure spelling and vocabulary is not mandatory.

some how these two women (partners) failed to mention that they completed all the final documents to the transaction in Camelback Toyotas finance offince which is always video taped. On film they say that there is no payoff on the traded vehicle. Why would I or a delearship be held accountable when the witch hunt is created by two liars- to bad there is not a "I am a bad person" forum because I would like to spread the word that some people are just liars.
