Complaint Review: Camera Center Inc

i bought a MX 4 pentax camera fron the camera center inc on international drive on the 24.7.2006. last christmas 2007 i went to use the camera and was unable to use it as the camera would not flim at all. since then i have tried to get hold of a manager but have not be able to. all i get is from the staff that your warrenty is out of date .

i have tried to contact pentax customer services in the US but have had no look. i have tried to look for an address for the director of pentax in the US and again now look . the camera i bought and the price i paid was $1278.00 ( 710.00) at the time is alot of money and i exepect with the product i bought and the brand name of the product it would last more than 18 months when hardly used.

i have been in contact with pentax uk whom have been very helpful and they tell me that they have not offered this type of model for between 5-6 years as they cannot get the parts. so why is the camera center still offering this along with the warrenty, when you are unable to get parts for the camera. i believe that i have been ripped ofby the camera center as i was aother brit on holiday and got sucked into buying a item that was no longer produced by pentax and i believe that pentax should have made sure that shops across the world , ensure that the customers were aware of this. also the camera center have sold me a product to ensure that there sales team get there bonus
