My friends from overseas who were vacationing in Orlando with me felt obligated to replace my cell phone that they lost at a local theme park. Unfortunately they fell into the clutches of the sales people at the Camera Expo. They were sold a Samsung D500 phone claiming to be the latest model with lots of features for an outrageous price of $399.00!!

When I was given the phone the next day I knew that they have been ripped off. I called Camera Expo as soon as the store opened and explained to the manager that my friends were unaware of how we sign contract with a Mobil carrier and that I could get a cell phone for much less. Since I saw that the phone looked old with scratch marks I also wanted to know If I could exchange the phone for another. He said that was not their policy and they cannot return or exchange anything once purchased.

It was after I returned home that I found out that this particular phone is over three years old and that they had sold my friends a used phone. I cannot believe that City of Orlando allows business like Camera Expo to exist to victimize unsuspecting tourists. After reading other ripoff reports this seems to be Camera Expos general practice of doing business.
