This is a site for anybody who has a webcam and who will
broadcast live. People get naked and perform sex acts on themselves or with a partner. But beware they are somehow
patching your camera through to a porno site and making millions off unsuspecting people...

Not only is this illegal, but its downright sick!! and i wish i had the resources to expose and file a lawsuit against the scum sucking bottom scrappers..

Hope this gets the word out and millions of people see this,, and stay clear of that site.. the sick owner and maker of this site is Dan Esbensen, Director of Advanced Research
Lets shut this puke down. I know you people dont want your underage children finding this site and thinking it would be fun to be on camera...

seen many underage children using cameraware

#11Consumer Comment

i am a cameraware user, I am also a moderator in Webvoyeur. There have been times where we have seen many underage children using cameraware, we report it to the cameraware admin. We alo try and track down the child and try and get the child move to a safer alternative, one where they can be on cam with friends and only they can see it, most of these kids are teenagers, they can read and they choose to ignore. Not all of us on that use this program are sexual predators.

Yes Jerimiah what you stated was TOTAL BULL. I never at any time stated that I personally worked with the FBI, maybe you need to read things more carefully, I stated that Cameraware work closely with the FBI.

I have kids but don't allow them online with their computers, the way I see it they cannot miss what they have never had. There are programs out there that will stop adult content ... which any responsible parent or guardian will use, but they do not stop all of the content in spam emails.

I myself don't own a credit card and am 34 years old ... so should I be stopped from visitting adult sites because of this??? Also, how many kids can get hold of their parents credit cards to take the number and dates they need??? It's not like they have to sign on the dotted line!!!
Use of a credit card is not proof of age and lack of credit card is not proof of being under age!!!

Porn is all over the net/ not just cam and chat sites

#11Consumer Comment

I use to chat and cam on cameraware on a regular basis, I do not much anymore. Cameraware is an adult site, they are strict with who they allow to be on cam. I myself have reported children, anyway ones i thought to be underage to the tech room, and they removed the cam right then.

The point i am trying to get across here is, porn is all over the net, not just chatrooms or cams. When i check my e-mail, 95% of whats in there is porn. I delete it, but what about your children that have access to the same thing i do?

I have 2 kids, both grown, and they are aware of camerware, and they knew i use to be on cam. Both my kids are wonderful and have great careers. I cannot control what they do with their lives, but i did raise them with the best abilities i had.

My kids had computers when they were growing up, and i monitored what they did on them. That takes alot of time too. But, if you love your kids, you will do your best to teach them morals and values.

I am not saying, you have no right to be upset about what happened to your daughter, i would be too. What i am saying is, you can't blame webvoyeur or Cameraware because your daughter turned a cam on, and went to that site, and allowed some sicko to talk her into taking her top off. There are sickos everywhere, including the real world.

If your going to say its one sites fault what happen to your child, then you might look further into the internet. Theres lots of other sites that allow your child to do this without a warning..... Yahoo, MSN Messenger, NetMeeting, eyeball chat, J Meeting, ICQ. I am sure there are more as well. All these sites allow cams.

If your so adament about your child not being stalked or talked into doing something against the law, perhaps you need to keep her off the net, and away from other peoples homes that allow this to go on, on their computers.

FBI is allowing them to get away with a simple warnning/ disclaimer that allows juveniles to view this PORNO anyway?.

Simply Warning and putting up a disclaimer dont keep teenagers out of there, They just simply click ok and go in there anyway. These rooms on Cameraware nor Cameraware for that matter dont ask for PROOF OF age verification, via Credit Card,ECT... like most sites that are showing ADULT CONTENT/PORNOGRAPHY ARE REQUIRED TO DO. So I would really like to know how a simple warning/disclaimer is allowing these people to show ADULT CONTENT/PORNOGRAPHY TO UNDERAGED PEOPLE.. Uderaged people sure as heck can't go into a store and buy a porno magazine, but children anywhere from 6 to 17 years of age, could go into this site and see the stuff sometimes ten times worse on this site??? NOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?? And since "IN DEFENCE" Claims to work so closely with the FBI in keeping Juveniles from broadcasting, which by the way is (TOTAL BULL), I wonder why the FBI is allowing them to get away with a simple warnning/ disclaimer that allows juveniles to view this PORNO anyway?. I would really like to see this site ask and get an AGE VERIFICATION VIA CREDIT CARD OR SOMETHING.. FOR NOW THEY ARE JUST GETTING AWAY WITH SHOWING UNDERAGED PEOPLE THIS STUFF, AND SOME OF THEM THAT LOOK OLD ENOUGH TO BROADCAST DONT EVEN GET A SECOND GLANCE.

Im a daily user of one of the cameraware chat sites and a cam owner, ok I dont go on much but do get on to broadcast from time to time. Ive used cameraware from when they started being in the room that helped test out the program for bugs etc., and have been in chat daily since. I'd like to know the URL of this so called site, I for one can't see them patching cams, Id also love to know who gave you the info(total bull).

Im a moderator in a different cameraware chat site now, and being a moderator if i see someone underage on cameraware then I go straight to their tech support to report it and the cam is removed, cameraware work with the FBI against children on cam they don't support this kind of stuff.

I don't chat in webvoyeur but I think it's the guy that took and posted these snags that this problem should be taken up with not webvoyeur or cameraware. Im sure like with the site I chat in there WILL have been a warning/disclaimer BEFORE getting to the cam/chat page, stating there WILL BE ADULT CONTENT and that people MUST BE OF AGE to enter.

Yes Im a mother of kids with a computer, but wont give them internet access as porn is spammed so much and I wont have my kids open up porn in an e-mail. No child locking can control these.

It still doesn't make it alright. Maybe this woman's role as a parent is a bit tarnished, but this poor 15 year old girl *was* taken advantage of, and then publicly exploited by an adult. It's still wrong. Don't excuse the person (or company) who committed the crime, by blaming the unsuspecting parent.

Look whoever you are? If you would have bothered to read. It says "I have a parental lock on my computer and this did not happen in my home", and I dont even own a camera.

Obviously your one of those Pedophiles and not a Parent or you would know that you can't watch your children 365 days a year 24 hours a day. I am there for my child and she obviously respected and trusted me enough (at 15yrs old) to come to me and tell me about this, so I must be doing something right.

All I can do is give her guidelines, live my life to the best of my ability, be there for her when she needs me, respect, love her and hope see follows the right path. Something im sorry to say, you seemed to have lacked in your life by the sound of your angry reply.....

I just wanted to reply to the person that stuck this post up here. and let them know I beleive them, because I have first hand experience of what kind of filth is lurking out there on this site.

Ok, So you get you little angel a computer. Then you get her an internet connection. Then a camera. She decideds to go somewhere she shouldn't have been then you complain?? What about your responsability of monitoring where you child goes on the internet?

Why didn't you watch her, get some "nanny software" or better yet not get her a camera for the computer? I fell it is not the owner of the website that should be watching you kid YOU should have been watching her.

I do not care what this man says. I found out my teenage daughter who is 15 had been on camera and on this site and was lured in to taking off her top by some sicko pedophile. (lets face it's not hard to influence a 15yr old) This man convinced her to take her top off and then had stolen her frames some how and posted them all over the place. child porn sites, Newsgroups, his own personal site. ect..... And then this sick man had the gall to brag about it to her.

Now I am very fortunate My child was so upset and scared she came to me and told me everything, But how about the children out there that dont have that relationship with the parents? I am here to tell you folks if this could happen to my child it surely can happen to yours. I dont know anything about this site other then there is no age verification process you have to go through to get on it and its free.

I guess their moto is if it has boobies and it looks to be old enough, then it must be.. I have to agree with whoever stuck this report up here. Something has to be done about this kind of thing. Parental locks are not the answer totally because I have one on my computer.. This was done at another schoolmates house. Thank goodness the other parents were as concerned as I and also put one on their computer.

To the above rebuttal: You have a responsiblity as an Adult to not make this website available to children, and just because they look old enough does not mean its so.. And just because you say "we just provide a service" is not going to save your sorry a*s when someone takes you to court... I think you know exactly what goes on at that site, and you, Sir are accommodating & condoning it.

The following statement is completely UNtrue:

"But beware they are somehow patching your camera through to a porno site and making millions off unsuspecting people..."

We do *not* patch anyones camera to anywhere at all. We don't make millions off of anyone.

The *only* money we make is off of the CameraWare licenses that people can OPTIONALLY buy when they wish to view cameras at higher-speeds with fancy features.

We also mark our www.cameraware.com website as "mature" because we don't control the content of any cameras. We are just a image-delivery service. We don't create or control the content.
