I had a medical emergency with my horse and it was serious, I called Camille at happy horse haulers and she said she could be there but not for an hour, well the hour came and the hour went. I repeatedly called to no avail, she never called to cancel just left us high and dry. luckily, my friend borrowed a trailer and we made it to the vet in a nick of time. The sheer lack of caring wether or not my horse lived or died really made me sick. Now that I read about this company on ripoff report I ask myself why didnt someone warn me?

To think that this person is still behind the wheel is awful! No insurance, no class a, no trailer insurance, I must say, Im glad this thief didnt take us. Cant something be done?

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

First of all, this is a lie, or are you sure you have the right company to begin with. In my business I pride myself on helping the sick horses, the whole reason for starting my company was for the fact that my horse was sick and I could not get a vet out to the ranch. So I hooked up my trailer and to him to the clinic, as I went to the clinic I thought about all the horse owners that I know that don't have trailers, what would they have done in this horrible time...I make myself ready and willing to go at the drop of a hat, ask anyone that knows me...I will drop what I'm doing and go, wheather it is 1 pm in the afternoon or 3 am in the morning I will be there, If I can't be there I would never tell you I was coming, I would give you 2 different phone numbers to call, they are my back ups if I'm out of town or on another call already!
I work for 7 different vets and 4 different clinics in the state of California, all the vet tell me I'm at the top of the list cause they know I will be there and I have a great extra tall extra wide trailer to fit any horse from the smallest to the largest, as well as i don't mind getting that call at 3 am, if the horse has to go then it has to go, most of my vets I work for have even called me in advanced for a client, saying "I'm headed over to the barn now, if the horse is bad it will need to go now, get the trauck and trailer ready and please be on stand by." So I get ready and I wait sometimes I go and somethings it is a fasle alarm but I'm ready anyways. I would NEVER leave someone waiting for me if their horse was sick or injury....Horses can't book in advance when they want to get sick or injury.
To the person that wrote this letter please have your facts striaght and make sure you have the right company or person before you wirte something of this nature. I would have never told you I was coming if I weren't. I have a great relationship with the vets and clinics in this area and they know as well that I would have been there if I told you I were coming.
To the people that feel lying to hurt someone's business is morally right I feel sorry for you. I wish you a better life then you have had in the past. Please lets all be honest on this site, for it could hurt alot of people not just one person but their families has well.
I have a feeling that this report was made out of spite by my ex-husband. I have a great client base, and my clients know and respect that I run my business on honesty, hard work, and my word!
Thank you, Camille Broby
