First, and foremost I've been a loyal customer for almost a year. After this recent situation, I wish to NOT have anything to do Camp Bow Wow.

I dropped my dog off for a full-day stay only so he can run and play with other dogs. The entire 8 hours I was at work I tried looking at him over the iPhone app that allows me to see him play with other dogs, the whole time I was unable to see him. I knew something was wrong... and boy, was I right. I picked up my dog, Bacon, at 4:45pm with a co-worker and the staff member, Nick, told me my dog got into 2 altercations and they placed him in time out, no wonder my I couldn't see my dog all day, he's been left in a cage all day... they should of at least called me. and then Nick tells me my dog was pooping all day, another reason to call me, and then Nick tells me there was strings of blood in his feces, 4 times that day. I was appalled, I had NOT received one call from Camp Bow Wow's staff, blood in a dogs feces is a MEDICAL EMERGENCY, unacceptable. I had to rush my dog to the ER where he was admitted for 2 hours, come to find out something happened at the facility that stressed him out. I've never seen my dog look so bad, his eyes were blood shot, and he was completely tense. I called the corporate branch, still have not received a cal back, and the owner ends up calling me. Paul, the owner calls me and my co-worker liars and said my dog was aggressive. Paul, the owner has absolutely NO business ethic calling his customers liars, on top of that yelling at his customers. This branch should be shut down.

That is one thing I did regret,  I should have called them. However, it is their responsibility when they are taking action to inform me, the pet owner, they are placing my dog in "time out" when his behavior is irregular... and to also call me if there is BLOOD IN HIS FECES; that is an immediate red flag, and its their responsibility to contact me or the other pet owner for medical emergencies.

I don't really think your iPhone comment is relevant to the situation. If you feel it is, then why pay them to watch my dog and me monitor him at the same time?? The facility has their intervals when they switch out the dogs for nap time and cleaning. I work a full 8 hour day, if I didn't have to, I would have taken him to the dog park myself.

Bottom line, they should have contacted me when there was an issue.

First of all if something is wrong with your dog, should they contact you..of course.  So I am not going to say that they are right in their actions if everything is exactly as you say.

However, at the same time, you stated you knew something was wrong when you couldn't see him on the iPhone app.  If you had the time and capability to bring up the iPhone App, how come you didn't take a few minutes to actually call them?  Especially if as you say you "knew" something was wrong.

I would like to first and foremost say that the report that was written about camp bow wow in agoura hills, ca is 100% accurate. I was witness to this poor dog being neglected. And I was there with my firend when we rushed the dog to the emergence vet. The owner Paul has made it more than clear that he could care less about the dog's well being. All he seems to care about lately is his "impeccable" record online. Come to find out, he called my friend, the dog's owner, to ask him "how can i make you go away".  uh, i dont think so Paul. His impeccable record online is now gone, and will continue to do so until he makes this right. He needs to more than compensate my friend for all the vet bills, the day at camp bow wow, and for suffering and hardship for the dog. All the owner cares about is how to get the negative reviews online to go away. Until he fixes this, they wont. He is an awful person and needs to be fired immediately. Dogs are not safe in his facility...not at all.
