We bought a 2014 Monaco Holiday Rambler Motor Coach new from Camper's Inn Jacksonville FL and took delivery on 31 December 2014. The motorhome was driven from Indiana to Jacksonville during the winter of 2014. The dealer failed to rinse the salt from the frame which caused extensive corrosion on all surfaces of the chassis and undercarriage. The corrosion was reported to the Camper's Inn Service Manager Larry Collins in January and February of 2015 as a warranty issue. Mr. Collins was fired and replaced by Chris Bellomo as Service Manager. The advancing corrosion issue was reported to Mr. Bellomo as a warranty issue in March, Aril and May 2015 Mr. Bellomo was replaced as Service Manager by John Provo. The now severely advanced corrosion condition was reported to Mr. Provo In June and July 2015 as a warranty issue. Mr. Provo was replaced by Michael Brown as Service Manager and the corrosion issue was reported to Mr. Brown every month until present as a warranty issue. I had been promised all year that the chassis would be repaired and under coated. Mr. Brown informed us in August that Monaco had turned down the chassis repair because the damage had been caused by the dealer and not the manufacture. I reported the condition to Camper's Inn headquarters in September, October, November and December of 2015. Mr. Derek Cunningham of the We Care Group at Camper's Inn in New Hampshire sent an E-mail stating Camper's Inn would cover the chassis repair. Mr. Brown informed me that Camper's Inn was not able to accomplish the chassis repair. Mr. Cunningham E-mailed me in April 2016 an told me that I could make the selection of a chassis repair dealer. I contacted 3 truck repair shops with the following results: Power South Cummins declined to bid on the chassis repair, Maudlin International truck declined to bid on the chassis repair, the third repair shop Tom Nehl trucking agreed to estimate the chassis repair. The estimate was done at Tom Nehl Trucking Company on 21 April 2016 and submitted to Mr. Brown at Camper's Inn the following week. As of today 10 May 2016 Camper's Inn has not authorized the promised chassis repairs.

Update: Campers Inn has subsequently agreed to cover the chassis repair, however, we live in the motorhome and Campers Inn will not cover lodging expenses as Monaco does during warranty repairs. We have lost use of the motorhome for a year and a half because the dealership could not perform basic dealer preparation and did not take steps to prevent long term affects of salt on the chassis. An important document does not exist which is the dealers acceptance form. The dealers declaration to us, the DMV and the finance company that the motorhome is a new unit is invalid. Many of the warranty issues raised during the last year and a half have been repaired and some have not. The unit is not as new and was sold under the assumption that it was in new condition.
