Camping World Sold a RV as new and it was used. Broke down on first trip and kept it for four months. New Braunfels, TX,
Camping World sold a disabled veteran a used RV motorhome and said it was new on March 30, 2023. It was taken out for a trip the following week and broke down. Had to spend 2,300$ to get it home. We returned it to where we bought it; they have had it for four months. As of 7/12/2013, they have not made all the repairs. We have been lied to by the GM, the Service manager, and the service clerk. We should have known better when our salesman stated he and all the salespeople were from the used car business. They are out to scam people and will not return calls. Whatever you do not buy from camping world, and if you live in Texas, stay as far away from the New Braunfels location as possible.
I can't add photos because I have not had the unit since I bought it in March.

You didn't respond so now we know that this didn't actually happen.

First off, being a veteran HAS NOTHING to do with this so don't soil the reputation of those of us who have served by using that as a sympathy card. This vehicle and this dealership didn't just pick on you because your a veteran. Secondly, in grade school, little children learn to write dollar amounts as "$2300". Why can't you??? Thirdly, you did not mention a warranty. If it was new, it would come with a warranty. Your paperwork would have very plainly stated it was covered by a warranty or was "AS IS". Did you even bother to READ what you were obligating yourself to BEFORE agreeing to it? I would suspect this was not covered with a warranty because you would have stated so. If it wasn't covered, didn't that even occur to you it WAS NOT NEW? Oh yes, let me save you some time. Don't bother writing back "you must work for them". I'll tell you ahead of time, I don't.]

What model year is the RV? What was the odometer reading at the time of purchase?
