Camptown RV & Marine lie about the work they do. I took my deck boat to them so they could get it lake ready and check the gas gauge. The main salesman, Gary or Cary (I think), was extremely nice and assured me they would do their job. When the boat was finished, he told me they had to change the oil in the upper or lower part of the motor because that needed to be changed. He said the gas gauge was fine. Supposedly they had replaced the oil & checked to make sure everything was in good working order. I paid them $200, and went to lake the following weekend. I was on the water less than 30 min when the boat just quit. We were stranded on the water for about an hour before we found a tow. The boat just wouldn't start. I called a local marina and they towed the boat to their shop and informed me that lack of oil had caused the motor to burn up. $2000 is what I had to pay to get my motor completely reconstructed!!! I called Camptown marine & told them what happened and they were so rude!!!! They even cursed me over the phone!!! Never take a boat or an RV to them. They lie about the work they do, are ignorant about boat motors, and are very unprofessional.
