I was wondering if you could please help me with this problem I am having. A friend has highly recommended a business named Campus Sportswear & Graphics, 1580 Brimely Rd, Scarborough Ontario as a place that I would be able to order and purchase jackets for my staff and business. He was told they could have them ready in about six days.

They sent some samples, and I have called them and spoke to the Marketing Rep, Sheena Hirani. She told me that they would need half down payment for the number of jackets I was to purchase + 75.00 set up fee and the rest of the payment on delivery. She also stated they would have them in about 10 days from when they received my cheque.

I sent them a cheque dated September 25,2002 for $627.00 and an order for 12 jackets with all the measurements that were asked for, plus all the samples. The cheque was cashed but I have not yet received the jackets.

On October 10, 2002 I was told though the same friend that recommended them that they said they were having trouble getting zippers.

I have sent an email on November 9, 2002 to the business concerning these jackets requesting a refund or my jackets and have never received any reply. I phoned them on Friday November 22, 2002 and spoke to Sheena Hirani about this. I informed her that I would like a full refund as I have not received the jackets and was very disappointed in this.

Also I have had to purchase jackets elsewhere because of my staffing needs to look professional and they had not provided the service to which I was told they would.

I requested that they take some business action to rectify the situation or I was going to look into legal issues. She told me that she needed to speak to her husband about the refund and he would be getting back to me on Monday November 26,2002. I called them on Tuesday November 27,2002 to get an answering machine. I asked them to call me back to resolve this and left my phone number.

I have not heard from him as of yet. I notified our local BBB as there is not one in the Toronto area and have also contacted the consumer protection agency of Ontario. I would appreciate your assistance into this matter as I feel as a consumer I have been ripped off. This is a lot of money to me that I have appeared to have lost to this business for nothing.
