As the proud owner of the largest private addiction treatment organization I must respond again to this Ripoff Report..... The individual claiming employees were not still paid is wrong.....when a company like Addiction Canada that was forced to close and before they could finish conducting business, many current employees do not get final pay......ALL the employees involved were addressed with a package offered by the government under the Employee Protection Act that pays out unpaid wages due to forced closure of business.
As for the Above main story.....ALL CHARGES WERE DROPPED as they were proven to be FALSE!! but when the media started to report on this story everything got twisted and made to look much worse.....AND again ALL UNPROVEN & FALSE!!

I am a former employee of the Sundre /Caroline area facility. It is located on hwy 22 and has a Canada flag at the beginning of the long dirt road drive to the log cabin. They are still running and just tried to buy Prairie Creek Inn so must be doing good enough to pay off the debt to us employees. This is not fair, we did the work under difficult circumstances. We had super unhappy clients to deal with that were promised many things they never got. They also found out the truths we all were convinced were nothing until it was too late. Cheques started to bounce, local gym was complaining about not receiving fees promised, and then pay cheques did not happen at all. They had us stuck so some of us stayed longer because we were afraid they would never be and we werent anyhow. Its been over a year now and yes labor board is involved with no results as of yet. It is wrong and the equality of food, apparent chefs who are not, and doctors and fake nurses i also witnessed. A client almost killed themself from being "detoxed" too quickly and us staff that came on shift were not informed at all and did not give extra diligence on the care of this client who thankfully didnt kill themself that shift. Their "psychologist" who was married was heard having sex with one of the counsellors "Scott" who is still employed and fell off the wagon badly. Very unhealthy owner and staff. Stay away from the negativity and dishonesty. There is nothing good here. Sneaky fraud only. Pay us you lying evil man!

This posting on Ripoff report was posted word for word(copy and paste) on many complaint/review sites(the person listed them in this post) but besides that the story is an exagerated version with some added nasty sounding allegations that are all false we can provide court transcripts about all charges and allegations being dropped against John Haines and Addiction Canada as well as any accused doctors after a 3 year investigation with no basis or supporting evidence as well we assume the anonymous person who posted this name is Sunil Ram who posted the exact posting on his own kijiji ads and we have a cease and desist order we can provide you as well. We also can provide some other news publishings that were posted after the charges dropped for explanation.
