Complaint Review: Candace Bautisa

 So I did it again. I saw a post for someone that was having a hard time and down on her luck. She had no place to live. And I needed someone to watch my animals while I went on a trip for 10 days. So I offered to let her stay in my camper on my property fit the month of August if she would feed my animals, clean the house, and do some QuickBooks data entry work for me. I was hoping to let her stay here until she got on her feet and got a car and a job, etc.

So when I returned for my trip The house was clean but everything was moved! Everything!! I couldn't find anything! I'm still looking for things. I mean the furniture was rearranged everything was backwards it was horrible. I checked one weeks worth of the QuickBooks and although she swore she could do QuickBooks there was more mistakes than it was worth doing. I asked her to fix the mistakes and she just reentered everything so that I had two of everything with mistakes on everything. The animals were fine thank God. I have no idea if they were fed properly or not but they looked fine. Most the things I asked her to do we're not done the way I wanted them done so I assume they didn't get all the supplements and stuff like that.

Now I found out that we have a new washing machine. While I was gone she text me and said that the washing machine broke. So I gave her the number of the guy that fixes my washing machine and she called him and she never said a word after that about the washing machine. But the washing machine guy called me and told me that she was very rude and he did fix the washer. he said the washing machine was full of sand and he had no idea what she had done with it. And then I found out that she was driving my truck all over town. The washing machine guy has a friend that lives near me and told me he saw her driving my truck and he knew it was her because she had a washing machine in the back of the truck. So what she did was she took all my change that was in my house and bought another washing machine. She apparently didn't think that was wrong to do without asking me. I just can't get over the fact that she would not even ask me she would just steal stuff out of my house like that. And she had asked about driving the truck and I told her no. There was half a tank of gas missing in the truck!

So I tried to have a few conversations with her about all this and she got very hurt and offended. I really thought she was just a nice honest girl that just didn't know any better. So I told her she needed to find a place to go. That it just wasn't going to work out. She told me she found a place and started moving her stuff out. When the hurricane came I went to my friends up north and I asked her if she would mind feeding the horses for me a couple times and she said sure. I had no idea that when I returned there was a broken window in the back of the house and I wasn't sure until I found a hammer in the yard that isn't mine.... nothing seemed to be missing in the house which is strange. Maybe just a hateful thing to do? Then I noticed the barn door was fracked open and I had put a cinder block in Front of it to hold it closed. So I went and looked inside and sure enough... my gas can with 5 gallons of gas was gone. And in the laundry room outside the brand new bottle of laundry detergent, fabric softener and bleach were all gone too! I had seen her post that she was looking for gas on Facebook. I assumed she took it and figured she would just bring it back later. I looked In the camper to get my red flashlight I lent her and of course it was gone.

But that's not it... the camper was trashed and everything that wasn't bolted down is gone!! OMG. You try to help someone and this is what I get! I am so hurt that she turned out to be another scam artist. She won't return any of my calls or texts. So I guess she's not bringing back anything she took. It's just sad and I am so disappointed in her. I tried to help someone that seemed to be down and out. People have helped me through the years and I was just trying to give back to someone. Her name is Candice Bautista so just beware. She is a thief, a liar and lives like a pig. She has a cute little black and white dog named Lilybell. I wonder who she is scamming now?
