Complaint Review: Candlewick Homes

Brac Wardlaw and Leo Wetz operate Candlewick Homes, a custom homebuilder in North Texas. They've decided to make a stab at avoiding bankruptcy by bilking wealthy franchisees out of a $50k franchise fee to obtain a "homebuilding franchise". What do you get for $50k? Some fancy paperwork, a weekly pep talk on the "how to's" of building and selling a custom home, and a free lunch.

I could have bought my own real estate and built/sold a custom home with better information off the internet and saved $50k.

Once you start having setbacks and need their help, they are suddenly not taking your calls anymore.

Now these guys are under federal investigation. I hope they get what they deserve.
