Complaint Review: Cannon

Cannon didn't hold up to toner warranty. Rip-off! Lake Success New York

We are a non-profit agency and we recently purchased a cannon image class mf5550. We had been having problems with our machine so we called for what we were told was the best customer service around. To our suprise their customer service was extremley poor. We had already purchased an extended warranty but the level of help that we received let us know that the basic warranty was useless along with the extended warranty.

We also have purchased numerous toners. The toners are only gauranteed for 15 days which was not explained up on purchase or in the product gaurentee. Each toner should allow us to print 2500 copies. Even the 2500 copies are not guaranteed because there is only a 5% coverage rate on the page which translates into 12 to 15 lines. So clearly this company does not advertise accurate guarantees.
