Cannon-Mania Buyer Beware! Took my money, no merchandise shipped, hard to contact, no refund! Stratford Connecticut INTERNET
On 01/09/08 my credit card was billed $3,228.30 for a cannon I ordered through Cannon-Mania.com. It is the begining of AUGUST and I still have not recieved my cannon. My emails and phone calls have gone unanswered until this week when I was told it was going to be another "couple of weeks". I want my money returned and said this to David Ross, the owner of cannon-mania.
I looked into the BBB and he has 27 complaints in the last 36 months and only 6 were closed in the last year. Well, now there are 28 since I filed mine.
I am also filing a complaint with the FBI & Internet Crime Dept (www.IC3.Gov), along with the local authorities in Stratford CT. I will be also pursuing this through the court system.
I have seen other complaints made again this company. SO BUYER BEWARE!

Finally Got My Cannon

I am the person that filed this rip off report on Cannon Mania. I don't know if it was the outside pressure for Cannon Mania to make good on their deal with me or it just took 9 months but all of a sudden I had good service. I got my cannon last week. David also paid the frieght which was supposed to be on my nickle.
I will say one thing. It is a great cannon and I am very pleased. Five Star
I told the owner "David" after he finally made the contact back, that it was a shame that a company that could make a great product like this has so many complaints. I wished him luck in the future.
Would I do business with him again? Because the cannon is so nice I would have to say "Yes" with a COD order. He will have to earn our trust back.
Also thanks to this great Rip Off Site. We all owe them.
