I recently received a notice in the mail stating Cannon was unable to honor a $100 rebate concerning the PIXMA Pro900 because "The receipt we submitted was dated after the qualifying period". Which is totally untrue. In the rules it stated a purchase was to me made between October 14, and January 12, 2008. We purchased the printer January 11, 2007 and it was postmarked January 12, 2008 which is all within the required time frame to receive the rebate.

My husband and I have contacted them several times through e-mail and phone. I sent them all the required proof they need to give us our rebate and I have not heard back from them.Their customer service line automatically hangs up on us during business hours. There is no way of getting in touch with them. I have also read many complaints online about Canon not honoring their rebates. The deadline to re-submit ends today. It all seems very shady to me and I am very upset because the whole reason we made the purchase is because of the price. I would never recommend Canon to any of my friends nor will I purchase their products.
