I rented a 2 story 2BR 2 1/2 Bath, full basement Townhouse in Kettering, Ohio (Dayton) May 2010. Signed a 1 year lease and provided a security deposit and 1st months rent. I then moved in mid May from Youngstown and went to work in a local retail store.

Later I was informed by my store owner that his daughter (who had worked there for some time before my arrival) who then had left to teach at Wright State University. Owner's daughter became tired of teaching and was rehired to take my place at the store so the owner could retire as he is in his 80's. As of August 3rd I had no job and moved back to NE Ohio, still unemployed I began to send out resume's as monies were thin.

For 13 months I had no communication from or with the landlord, then all of a sudden a COLLECTION notice from Capital comes in the mail. I called their office immediately and spoke to CHRIS. He indicated that Capital had purchased the debt from the Landlord and it was now Capital's money to recover. I bristled at his insistant, rude manner and asked him to email me the ledger he continually referred to. I received the email with NO LEDGER attached. That was about 30 days ago today JEFF GREEN called me at work. Their actions thus far clearly violate Fair Consumer Collections Act laws and they should be stopped. I would be delighted to join a class action with others against these fiscal bullies.
