Complaint Review: Capital Acquisitions And Mgmt. - CAMCO

I was attempting to locate this lame outfit on the internet when I fortunately found this site. I was happy to read all of the reports and know that I was right in my assumption about this pack of dogs.

I first received a call from an Ebony Stone with CAMCO a couple of months ago telling me that she was collecting on 2 old credit card accounts with the same bank that were both almost 20 years old. With interest she said I owed them over $11,000. Almost 3 times the principal amount.

I knew off the bat that this had to be some scavenger outfit that bought old write-offs for a penny or two on the dollar and try to bring them back to life. I informed her that she had totally lost her mind if she thought that I was paying them a dime.

She got furious with me, insisting that this was a valid debt that I owed them and I should be ashamed for being a dead beat and a thief. I laughed at her hysterically and made her so mad she hung up on me, insisting that their collection efforts would continue.

I guess Ebony doesn't want to play anymore cause I get calls from a couple of others now which I usually ignore. I have also received a "settlement offer" for a small portion of the total.

What a scam. If these buzzards call, just tell them they're nuts, we're on to their game and laugh at them. Whatever you do, don't ever send them one red cent.
