Complaint Review: Capital Acquisitions And Management Company

This company has tried to collect on a very old bill that was I thought, paid off. It was a bill I received in Bend OR last year and it was one that had my ex married name on it. That with the date of the amount that they were trying to collect was what triggered that this was messed up and indeed some question arose and they were very insistent to lower the main amount if I started to make payments immediately.

I believe I made a payment by check for 100.00 and moved right after that. I have not been harrassed by them anymore but are they even a legit company?
